Sv Model History? - SV650.org

Hello,

I have started racing a SV 650 here in Ireland and possibly want to do some road racing in the minitwins class.

Some of the road race reg's stipulate the bike entered has to be no older than a certain age. Could someone please tell me where I could get a list denoting the model years from the prefix on the frame/engine numbers.

According to the log book I have for my bike its a K6 but want to make sure so I don't get turned away on race day.

K5=2005
K6=2006
K7=2007
K8=2008

as for the later years and the pre pointy someone else will have to help.
