Duchinni Stig gloves

My Duchinni Stig gloves arrived today from Busters, who were selling them at a discounted price of £20.

Haven't ridden in them yet but first impressions out of the packet were of a reasonably well made glove. No loose stitching and finished tidily.



The cuffs feature a double overlapping velcro fastener which should help to stop that business of the cuff bunching up on one side.



The wrist strap is plenty long enough to give a range of adjustment.



The gloves are comfortable to wear although they are initially tight around the wrist. This loosens up with a few minutes of wearing and hand movement. They have a decent quality lining in them too. Something that also pleased me was the fact that the thumbs of these gloves are a good length and aren't pulled pulled tight against the end of my thumbs.



I'll update this review once I've ridden in them for a while.

A bit of an update on these gloves as I've been using them for nearly a month.

They've shaped themselves very nicely to my hands and are now extremely comfortable to wear, but are still tight enough to let me know that they will stay put in the event of a spill. They feel substantial without being too hot in warm weather. All the stitching is neatly finished and none of it has so far pulled or come undone.

All in all I'm very impressed with them, although I have no way of knowing how effective they would be if I came off. I hope I don't have the opportunity to find out!

Well worth the money and I'd happily recommend them.
