Fork springs are easy to do.
The easiest however I saw be done at Silverstone in the BSb Evo group.
Get the bike on the rear paddock stand, undo the fork caps get a mate to help lower the bike down as you take off the caps. Once the forks are bottomed out the springs will pop out the top. Pull the springs out (being carefully as some oil will come out with them. Put the new ones in, lift the bike and put the fork caps back on.

Of course if you need to change the fluid it becomes less simple but still it's easy and learning for you to get to know the bike and realise it ain't rocket science.

I did the fork spring and oil change on my SV. Pretty easy job to do to be honest. Just followed the haynes manual and took my time. In fact, I decided to go one further and completely stripped the forks down and got the lowers powder coated. If you managed to fit the rear shock, I'm sure you've the ability to do the springs . The difficult part was making sure the font end was lifted off the ground. Don't know what set up you have or if you have a garage, but I used an abba stand to lift the rear and jacked up the front using a car jack under the engine by the sump, then made the bike more stable using ratchet straps on the frame and over my roof strut with just enough tension that if the bike slipped off the jack it wouldn't drop (if you know what I mean).

If you want someone else to do it, I've heard good things about this place - revs racing in Halesowen. Might be worth contacting them to see how much they charge. Wouldn't take them long to do it.
