Default Baffled... stuck baffle.

Musta heard about 15 people at AR saying "You need to remove that baffle"...

So I've just drilled the rivet out and tried pulling at it with pliers, tried persuading it up & down and side to side, sworn at it, said nasty things about its mother, waved a hammer at it........

It's not coming out. Should I just take it for a thrash and hope that the exhaust fumes push it out a bit? Or failing that any other advice to get the bloody thing out?

is it a slip on race can Paul ? if so take it off the bike and stick a broom handle up the other end and bash the broom on the floor holding the can, it'll come out then.

Ok so 2 problems...

1) I got the broom handle stuck in the end can for about 10 minutes... Which looked ridiculous.

2) I decided to have a break from fighting the broom-can and cheer myself up with reving the engine with end can off... my left ear drum feels weird after I rev'd it too loud.

Now what?

Ride like that?

Or stick a broom handle in the other way to knock the first one out

ok so funny story time... this is completely stuck like this, I think the baffle hollow section has bitten into the wood and is now stuck..

Then I tried what spank has suggested and the broom has done the same at the other end. Been trying to get it all apart for about 25 mins now... Luckily I can't stop laughing.

I wasn't being serious!

Now I am: heat the can up so it expands?
