Which engine oil and oil filter for SV650S pointy K9? - SV650.org

Hi all,

Yes, I have read the top post about engine oil, I know it needs to be 10W40.

But can anyone please suggest anything particular that definitely worth buying and using in my SV650S K9 ?

Has anyone used www.wemoto.com ? They sell some french semi-synthetic oil that I used in my Bandit before and it was alright, shall I go with it again ?

the SV engine isn't a particularly sophisticated engine, any bike semi synthetic 10w40 will do, spending more on top notch oil is wasted really, I used Halfords or Hein Gerike bike oil with no problem for 153,000 miles in mine.

oil filter I used most was the Hiflo HF138 or Champion K301
