Default >70mph wobble following service (SL0)

Put my 2010 Pointy in for it's 4k service on Friday then noticed a slight wobble at motorway speeds.

It's nothing that I can't control but certainly something that wasn't there before the service.

Any ideas what would cause that?

Not having it serviced properly?
Best you go straight back
Might only be something silly like a wheel wight fallen off.
Could be a loose front wheel

a few years ago now I noticed a funny sensation from the front wheel as I pulled away; after getting tyres from FWR, as so pulled the brake which made a loud "clonk" type noise, returned (slowly) the 100 yds to the shop to ask if they'd mind doing up the caliper bolts.....

take it back, you pay for a certain standard, a minimum is a check over before they give it back.

Cheers Mark.

Nothing should be done on that service that could cause a wheel wobble, unless they have had the front wheel out for a new tyre. Id say its possible that the wheel weight has fallen off. Check your tyre pressures also.

Check it over. I had an issue with vibration at speed once. The place ( hms) refused to re balance the wheel. I left it with them for the day and still had the probelm on return as they wouldn't test it over 70. (Issue was at 80)

Got front rebalanced and problem solved. I say take it back but would be checking everything before getting on it again.

Similar story, but pinch bolts. Front wheel could have rotated round the left fork whilst I was riding.

When you say check everything, what exactly do you mean?
