Bought an Arrow decat pipe for the GSXR. Got it 2nd hand for £50 delivered. Was in a bit of a state but after 2 hours of Autosol & elbow grease its come up a treat. Its not perfect and probably could do with some more polishing for some but it'll do
![]() Apart from the huge weight saving (4.2kg approx) the bike should be have a little bit more BHP in the midrange. Am still running a stock filter so am hoping it'll run ok without a remap. I'm also gonna disconnect the EXCV too. Here's a few pics for you polishers out there ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes i think i have started something... Took the silencers off and subjected them to a good hand rubbing
![]() Links pipes will get the same treatment, if i can figure out how to get the fused bolts off, without mauling them ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

As far as I know they don't carry out emissions test on motorcycles. As long as your exhaust is street legal, there is no gas leaks and its not overly loud then it should be ok to pass an MOT

Yup no emmisions test on MOT.
Have dyno'd alot of 1000K7-8 models with the same exhaust setup. They run very rich low down with the decat and really benefit from a remap. |
