Not sure if its a common thing or what, but I seem to always click straight past neutral, I click it the tiniest bit, and it jumps past it. Anyone know what the prob could be? Thx

Oil level. Clutch adjust. Sprocket minging. Chain adjust.
I had this for a while. I realised i was hard changing gears so finding neutral was difficult. Feel too clicky? Time to give the whole mech a service.

I was thinking about attempting a full rebuild over winter but may be a bit too technical for me

You thinking its more difficult than it is. There a very famous clutch adjust thread in these forums and i suggest you try that first and make sure the oil level isnt too high or low.

Do as muzikill suggests. I solved this issue by draining some oil from the crankcase (by loosening the filter) so the level was was sitting halfway between Full and Low... I also adjusted the clutch at the engine end and now it all works fine

All my bikes go into neutral all the time even when I don't mean them to.
It's cos I'm sloppy with my clutch work. |
