Default How to stop your bike being stolen. Tried and proven method

Buy a Versys.

Seriously, I've not heard of one being stolen yet anywhere in the world. None of my customers and not one of the guys on the Versys forum has heard of it happening.

Back in the days when I lived in a somewhat rougher area I used to have problems with my car getting constantly stolen/broken into.

I eventually got a purple Fiesta diesel and had no further trouble.

Perhaps the Versys is the motorcycling equivalent?

If your family is well known in the area you never have any problems...

With good reason.

You should tell your insurance company.

My usual chat with insurers "any extra security measures" "it's appearance".

Hasn't got me a discount yet but persevering...

Just as well then, don't think Messie could cope with more bad luck.

stands to reason lozzo, that if you buy the ugliest bike known to man then no one is going to nick it, the rapter comes in a very close second, or have i got them the wrong way round.

At least the versys would make a half decent getaway vehicle rather than... "We've got the loot! Go go go!"
"Did you bring the jump leads?"

I have no idea where you get that from. My bike starts first time, every time, even after being stood for six months.

The only way to truely stop your bike from being nicked, us if you make it look so bad, a thief would be wanting to wash his hands after touching it, or scared of moving it incase it felt to bits.

Bit like YCs SV
