I need to buy a nice Mikelor one to go with my shiny Arrow exhaust system, just not sure which size to get (and it's a pig to try and get a look at while still on the bike). I'm thinking it's 43-47mm. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks ![]() |

Is the arrow system definitely the same diameter as OE at that point? Might be worth contacting Arrow if not.

Good point, hadn't considered that.
I think the Arrow pipes are actually slightly tapered - will have to check. |

One thing I've noticed though, is that the two gasket / clamp attachments (no idea what they're called

If that's what they ship with then that's what you should use, provided they're in decent condition.
I'd use fresh exhaust gaskets, and just assemble it and see if it's blowing anywhere. Jambo

Yeah, they seem in good condition.
Doesn't look like you can get the metal versions without buying the entire section of pipe (at least according to Robinson's parts fiche). I just assumed that seeing as the header bolts go through that part to secure the pipe to the bike they would be metal. I guess Arrow must know something I don't... |

Upon inspection, turns out they are metal after all (just painted black). I just assumed they were rubber from the photos

Just out of interest, do you actually NEED a clamp on the rear cylinder header pipe?
It seems to attach in exactly the same way as the front header pipe, and obviously that doesn't have a clamp. Just curious. |

There is an exit pipe from the engine, that the actual exhaust clamps onto....
Not sure if your system replaces that piece and the whole lot bolts on? ![]() |
