Default Switchgear for GSXR front end?

Hello there,

I'm having some issues completing my fork conversion for my 55plate sv650, with my right hand clip on and the switch gear.

I'm running tl1000 clip ons but the original sv650 switch gear and throttle system are 2 separate things, which takes up more room and the throttle tube overhangs by around 5mm.
I'm unable to fit bar ends as it would stop the throttle from twisting, it looks unfinished and bodged!

So what can I do? Does anyone know if the Suzuki Burgman 2006+ switch gear would plug in directly? I know GSXR k1 k2 k3 have a switch gear which has the throttle in build but it has a lights on/off switch rather then hazards, I'm guessing this would operate the hazards anyway if wired up correctly?

The Burgman switch gear has inbuilt throttle saving space also, it has start/stop, engine start and also hazards.

In all these are my third set of clip ons, cbr1000rr were really short and left an over hang of 5mm on both sides (although felt great to lean), gsxr ones were too low and I couldn't do full lock or the front brake would come on or my hands would be stuck between the faring/bars and now the tl1000 clip ons, very comfortable, a lot of room, same height as the original 44mm sv clip but for a 50mm fork so I don't want to change them!

Any help would be great as my fork conversion is 95% complete.

Default Re: Gsxr forks clip on help?

having looked at the switchgear i think you might be onto something. the only thing that might cause issue is the connector wiring pinout, if everything matches up then yes it will fit. the 2006> have 2 plugs and the 2005< has one and looks to be the same as the SV.
