Hi Guys
I have a 2008 Naked 650 and am looking in to how possible it is to change the front shocks to upside down gsxr shocks and keeping the same handle bars? any info would be great. Thanks Jon |

you will have to change the top and bottom yokes so you will need to get a comfort bar yoke at £160 and a lower stem yoke £50-150.
you also need.. wheel, spindle+nut, mudguard, brakes, headlight barcket and various bolts. you also need to sort out something to drive your speedo. good news is that naked yokes are like rocking horse poo so you should get a good price for the ones you have. |

Thanks Bibio
I had done a few searches on here but couldn't find much to do with Naked 650 staying with the same handle bars. Can you tell me the best places to get the top and bottom yokes? I am hoping to find a full gsxr front end and taking what I can from that. Thanks again |

Ebay usually
The front end I've got on mine now came from the USA, so look on EBAY USA. You'll probably pay Import duty on something like this though.

also remember that if you do the front then the rear will be out of balance. if the rear shock is less that 10,000 then it should be ok'ish and this also depends on your weight. anything over 10st and the shock spring is starting to get to it's limits.

Nice one, Thanks a lot for the info. if i'm honest, I hadn't thought about the rear shock. I will do a few searches on here and see if there is any other shocker upgrades I can do on the front end without getting too in depth (and costly) any ideas?
Thanks |
