Default Carb Icing:

Is unleaded petrol more prone to causing this than 2 star? I do not remember this been such a problem. Does it normally occur on small throttle openings? I am having problems with a bike ocasionaly cutting out when I am slowing down at junctions and taking ages to restart. I have checked all the usual things, plugs, points, sparks, fuel flow, water in fuel, tank vent clear etc.

Since January 1st 2000, leaded fuel has been unavailable, except from a limited number of outlets for specialist or very old vehicles. How long ago are you talking about?

Or do you mean LRP?
