Default I fitted a dynojet kit and a K&N filter to my 2002 SVS a

It is bloody great! I am not a real expert on modification, I have always wondered about uprating suspension etc. but never felt I would notice the difference seeing as I use the bike mainly for commuting.
Well I fitted the dynojet kit l;ast weekend along with a friend of mine( an ex Bike mechanic) and a K&N filter and the Bike is a lot different.
I have a Remus carbon fibre legal Can, this always sounded better than the stock pipe but is still not unreasonabley loud, neighbour friendly really.
I tell you though, the sound of the SV has always been great especially when engine braking. The diffderence I have noticed is that after dynojet the sound is more of a snarl than a growl, more induction noise and a sharper and more ' subaru impreza' type bark at the exhaust.
It is faster too, I have spent a long time deciding what was Placebo effect( seeing as It cost me a few hundred quid) and what i could realy tell in terms of performance. The best wayu I can describe it is that The SV did everything as before, except after jetting, everything seemed that much easier, which I camn only put down to increased horsepower.
If you are undecided but have always wondered about dynojet, Get a mechanic to help/do it because it's not for the novice. It definitley improved the sound and performnance of my bikYou will notice the difference. Go for it.

It was worth about 4BHP on the top for my bike, but the improved throttle response and increased mid-range are all worth it.
You didn't say what size main jets you've installed?
Was it stage 1 or stage 3 dynojet kit?

Its a Stage one kit and I ca'nt remember now as all the stuff is at work but you know you get four sets of jets? we put in the second largest as the bigger ones were for a high flow can. My can is a legal remus so I figured its not amazingly high flow.
Thankfully Dynojet have changed their logo to something a bit less Harley Davidson and the stickers look cool on the tailpiece!

I think 136DJ was the second biggest for the stage 1 kit.
I fitted the 138DJ but have a not so road legal Zorstec.
My neighbours haven't complained, but when I leave early I roll it up the driveway to the street before I fire her up.
