Default Suzuki crash bungs

Has anyone bought or had experience of the crash bungs Suzuki sell? See

Cheaper than R&Gs but are they any good?

I had a look at them & decided that for the extra few quid the R&G's were definately worth it.

The suzuki's looked like they'ld snap off in a fall.

I saw a report on Sv Rider that basically said you might as well stick on drinking straws with wine corks on the end...
