Earplugs make you go faster
Inexperienced as I am I had a long run yesterday (see sticky thread above).

Haha. Yep, I get the same, everything becomes more serene because there's no noise. Without them 100mph motorway cruise is a head bashing, buffeting and noisy experience, but put the magic plugs in and suddenly I swear my bike cruises like a big beemer - I could sit there all day! Great for those of us who don't want to spend £350 quid on the quietest lid!

Yep, I reckon it adds 10-20mph to my motorway speeds... It just makes everything feel slower. Plus, the bike doesn't sound like it's about to explode at 120

I'm glad this isnt just me .. when I first got ear plugs my confidence levels just shot up... yes they do make you go faster!!  (or is that just the little voice in my head telling me to go faster?) |

i had custom made ear plugs which were fantastic but lost one last year. going to get another pair made this year though |

nah i think she's still recovering
Apparently it takes you longer to recover the older you get
