Suggestions for bike - £2k budget

Sadly I need to buy a new car and the only way is to sell my bike and buy a new car and a cheaper bike.. My budget is gonna be around £2k and i'd like something like a Hornet 600..

Anyone suggest another bike that I could be looking at? Not a curvey tho

CBR600F, Ninja (J model I think) and hornets are 10 a penny!

I like the older Fazers personally (with the two square headlights),think they're fairly cheap.

My previous bike was a Hornet. It did everything I asked of it, terrific fun. Sold it to get the Daytona. Would I have another? -Yes.

Mate of mine has an L plate ZXR400 and it's a belting bike. It isn't much slower to accelerate than my SV and top end is around the same. Plus they're cheap and handle VERY well. I was out with him for a camping trip last weekend and I was struggling to keep up with him round the twisties (we both have about the same riding ability before anyone asks).

I think there's something pretty cool about about those 10+ year old bikes.
