Default Undertray trouble.

Hi,
I'm in the process of fitting a powerbronze undertray, the problem is that I have no instructions. I've made a few preliminary cuts and have now gone past the point of no return.
Stupidly it has just dawned on me that I have a different rear shock which has necesitated a battery move to under the rear seat.
Three questions,
1. Can I leave sufficient remaining origional undertray to support the battery under the rear seat?

2. If I can't will the battery still fit under the seat due to the more restricted space, and will it give enough support anyway?

3. If anyone has an I dea of where I should make the cuts could they let me know?

It's a curvey by the way.

Thanks,
Sean

Okiedokie. Style of bike please? Curvey/Pointy.

Now i dont know about the powerbronze tray (Other than the paint WILL flake off) but mine is screwed on. so will happily take the wieght. Also there is still part of my original undertray there, well, its nearly all there. All i dont was cut the part off that hung down. My tray is the kind that keeps the original rear light.

There is an article in the FAQ sction on fitting an undertray http://sv650.org/sv_faq.htm
I actually managed to fit mine removing considerably less than he shows cut off. Infact my tool tray is still intact! I just took it a step at a time - you'll probably end up making a lot of small adjustment cuts but I think it's worth taking the extra time to remove as little as possible.

Thanks for your help. I didn't even know there was a FAQ section.
Cheers, everything is a bit clearer now.
