Fond of knowledge that we have on the org
I am after a PCIII for the fazer and if I get it from the States its only $250 ie about £127 which is quiet cheaper than here. Question is will it fit on the bike in terms of plugging to the loom etc? Thanks |

if it costs you ?180, is it still going to be a bargain ?
Reason I ask is that after import duty and fees, that could be closer to the real cost. You might not get charged, but always allow for it. Oh and BTW remember we had a chat about PSP's a LONG while ago - well it can now be done, but needs some special equipment that I have, so next time you are in London, let me know ![]()

that was my understanding as well
I've not paid for it, it is something that a friend owned in the states and doesn't want it anymore and is sending it to me................do I still pay import tax on it? |

The gift thing is not 100% guaranteed. A freind of mine who lives in Chicago sent me a new CPU for my PC. I got hit with ?90 tax charge which made it the same price as here.
![]() As for the PCIII working I would be wary, I spoke to a PC guy at the NEC and he said lots of people have imported them (mostly from Germany) but they are not supported by PC in the UK, if you have any issues with it you're screwed. |

It is still crossing the border, hence being imported.....
