Question painting rear sub frame ??

what is the best paint to go for ? i was thinking a few coats of that high temp bbq type stuff

I just use hammerite, don't need high temp as it isn't an area exposed to excessive heat.

I used Chassis Black, which is an epoxy paint. Very good stuff. Powdercoating is better really but spraying's cheap and easy.

Yep, Hammerite or Plastikote will do the trick.

A little trick I learnt from a paint sprayer I know was to spray on the paint and then after a few mins give it a gentle blow over with a heat gun. It smooths the surface out lovely to a mirror finish.

if your doing the rear you may as well do the front. Go to a powdercoaters and get em done proper. cost you about 40 quid. Well I got 2 rears and a front one done for that.. Good shiny nice job too

+1 I got mine shot blasted and powder coated for £25
