I can recommend Mrs Wyrdness's dad. He's in Bermondsey, but will travel.

I'll pm you his phone number, if you want.

Dear god, need a plumber for a dripping tap, what is the world coming to.

Turn off your water, remove the tap guts, change the washer. put back tap and turn on water.

Already tried that I'm afraid. Didn't work. Looks like I need a new cartridge.

That's what I've ended up doing. I didn't know what make the original tap was, so it saves me having to try and find the exact type of cartridge, etc. Just got to fit it now!

Must say a big thank you to Mrs Wyrdness's plumber dad, who helped me out with advice. Ta.

when i had problems with my taps int he council house, i worked out quicker cheaper and easier for me to buy new taps and do the job myself
1, because i didnt have to wait indoors alday
2, was only 6 pounds per tap
3, i didnt mind doing 5 mins work say 9pm.

you going to be fitting it yourself??

The dripping tap on Masons hill would probably have the parts you are looking for.
