i started learning on a cbr 125r, took out insurance through ebike for the sum of 220 quid for myself and the wife. when i bought the sv, i still have the cbr so i just went onto my online account with ebike and added another bike to the policy. on the closing pages it quoted me 296 quid, which i ASSUMED was 70 quid on top of the original policy that was still running for the cbr. the direct debit details popped through the post yesterday and i am being billed both the 220 for the original cbr policy AND 296 FOR THE SV POLICY. is that the way it should work with ebike?? someone else is bound to be on ebike?

so my original thought that 296 was for both bikes is correct then, looks like an admin error.

Not necessarily, the people above have some no claims, etc, which will affect it. I'm not sure from your post if the SV is your first big bike after passing your DAS, it did sound like it but unsure. However if it is your first big bike, and you've recently passed your test, I would think £296 is a very, very cheap price for both bikes.

![]() But seriously, I am going off the premium given for the CBR - I'm sure it's possible, but only £70 more for an SV over a CBR125 given an original £220 premium is what sounds off. |

Well my policy was 145 quid for the Honda Varadero 125 , I changed the policy to add the Sv on and remove the Varadero and they charged me 90 quid extra . That way I can keep the no claims bonus that would have been accrued on the Honda when the policy finished
