Default My "new" SVN

As I have crashed my previous precious SVS I bought myself a "new" SVN, bucause I realy realy like these bikes!!

One last glimp of the previous:

(the blue things around my exhaust were to protect it when I went for a trackday)

But here is the new SVN:

The biggest damage one the S:

As you can see the frame is broken and bent. It will cost me too much to fix that and it will never be the same and this is why I bought an other SV. The second reason is that the N has 1/3 km's than the S!

At the moment the N is still stock exept for the Ixil-high-mount exhaust as you can see. But I am planning to replace everything from the S to the N:
- R1 front end with clipons
- ZX6RR shock
- tailrisers
- dyno-jet + K&N
- cam-mod
- tailtidy
- rearsets
- ...

Then it should look like a nice streetfighter me thinks

note: the date on the photo's isn't correct!

That front end looks cool

Was it just a case of changing the forks over?

Where did you get the can protectors? Or are they home made?

Yes, thought of that too, but that will be a lot more work I think...

Not realy, my Akra was louder and sounded muchos betteros! Maybee that was because I needed to refill the can with new damping-stuff.

Thanks. It is nog "just" changing the forks over, it needs some modifications. More info here: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=98259

Home made.
Note: find yourself decent tube which can take a lot of heat because mine, espestially the one at the end, started to melt to the end of the trackday.
But that would be the lack of damping-wool in the can!

After a day remounting the cam's from the old engine to the new, it was time to put the SV on the dyno. This is wat came out of it:

80 bhp!! Me like!!

What is installed:
- Akrapovic full exhaust
- cammod (intakes from a pointy SV and old intakes to the exhaust side)
- dyno-jet stage 2
- modified air-intake

Things to do:
- Installing R1 front end

Things I want to do:
- Other clocks
- Other headlights
- Maybe a hugger

Greetings,
r4ce_e3nd

80bhp?! That's just awesome!
I really like the streetfighters, and with some mods, your's gonna be great!

What's dyna-jet stage 2?

I'm thinking about getting some more juice for my pointy, and I've ordered a full Yoshi TRS S/S system and a K&N filter. What more would you recommend for me? (Sorry for stealing your thread here, if you bother answering, you might do it with a PM).

Why does the dyno readout not have rpm data? Are they doing it on the cheap?

Will look great though, going for a cafe racer sort of thing with the clipons?

Looks very nice, I prefer pointies with fairings and curvies naked, although I'd shove a belly pan on, love bellypans on naked bikes!
