Picking your brains - Blade v BMW
Three options
1. Stick to the SV 2. PX the SV for a Blade 3. Buy a 2nd hand BMW K1200S and sell the SV on fleabay or similar. I have test ridden both the Blade and the K1200S. Both are awsome pieces of kit! I dont need to move on from the SV, but I want to. I need to commute, play and tour in about equal measure. Does anyone have experiance of both bikes? If so - how do they compare to each other? I think comparison to the SV is superfluous. At this point i am more interested in comparison of the bikes than the value for money aspects as all of the prices are up fopr negotiation. K1200R, oooooooo loooovley, not ridden one though, same as K1200S i think minus fairings

What year is the blade? If its the new one, I'd go for that. A good smooth all-rounder.
BM is pretty sweet too though. (buy the blade!!!!) |

If you like the inside of AA and RAC recovery wagons then buy the BMW.
If you doubt what I say, ask an AA or RAC patrolman what make of bike they get called to more breakdowns for. |

The blade is an 06 bike with 3K miles on it
The K12 is an 07 bike with 12K miles on it and comes with all the BM toys. |
