Default hid problem

hi all i have twin hids on my sv.....the ones with hi and low beam.. what my problem is that the left had one seems to get stuck on high beam sometimes due to the flicky bit getting stuck any ideas what could cause this? or is it just dirty and need abit of tlc?

Good morning.

'Flicky bit'? Are we to assume that you mean the dip switch? If so, give it a little squirt of lube such as GT85.

However as it's only one headlight that's sticking on main beam, it's more likely that it's the change over relay that's at fault. Some of the HID kits available are of pretty poor quality.

Sounds like he's on about the moveable shield

If it's not working properly then I'd say send it back, it's part of the high voltage end of the system so I wouldn't want to be taking it apart...
