Default Going Rate For UPVC Window Fitters?

What is the going rate for a UPVC window fitter?

How much would you expect to pay for a day's work?

was a while agi IIRC but it was 400 a day for two this included fitting large french window including cutting out, and 7 other windows - most quite big fitted and mastic'd. excluded materials

All done in one day.

Going rate at the moment for skilled labour is about £140 a day i.e "day rate" well thats what were payong out to out joiners.

Going rate at the moment is closer to 100-120.

The days of 140 are well behind us!!

You may be paying close to that to the main subbie but the joiners are getting much less.

depending on where you are, I can probably supply people who are very skilled but wont be charging 140!

fair play,

however its normally 14£ an hour (£120 a day), but if we have to send them to a different site where we dont have rates yet set up its "day rate" and thats about 140, I am talking london rates though.
