Pump them against something so they are a mm from popping, remove the something, remove the pistons.
This may be tricky if you have already removed one. ![]() Druid

Answer: With more brute force
![]() via Standing on the caliper and 2 hands on the pliers. Was using 3 dust seals round the piston to protect it as I'm replacing them anyway - only damaged the last couple of mm of the piston - should be reet ![]() |

I think it was xXBadgerXx posted a good tip the other day. Put a few cable ties tight around the protruding piston, then you can grip them with mole grips / stilsons without damaging them. Then twist and ease out...

Yeah I saw that & tried it. the ziptie came off too easily for me but it gave me the idea of using the seals.

Pop the other piston/s back in & lock them there.
Reattach line & use lever to pop sticky one out.
