I have to admit that I am quite impressed with the suspension on my new model SV. After reading all the posts on here I expected it to be rubbish, but I have found it ok so far. The front end doesn't feel soggy at all and it quite firm.
The brakes however are a different story. After having the RSV previously, has anyone else found the brakes to be a little on the weak side? If so what can be done to improve them a bit. |

Yep, if coming from something like an rsv the brakes will feel weak.
Try replacing the standard pads for HH sintered items, that will improve things, then if your still not happy get some braided brake lines.HTH

Yeah that's the route I was going to take. I will give the standard one's a bit more bedding in time, but will defo look into HH sintered pads if things don't improve.
