What you wearing under your leathers?

Hi Peeps,

I've just bought a RST Fusion suit and have tried a set of Trespass base layers, the legs are fine, but due to having a few back problems looking to ensure i keep the top half warm as possible.

Is there any good under suits available?

Layers if it's cold. Generally 2x T shirts and a long sleeved cotton shirt. Avoid long shirts that have any extra crap around the sleeves, or any fleeces that are bulky around the wrist area as they constrict the blood flow and give you cold hands.

Also try a big fleece over the top of leathers, you'll be warm as toast then as it breaks up the wind blast that will go through the leathers vents or zips or whatever.

Edz undersuit. If it's cooler then jelly hansen base layer over that with a thin northface fleece. The edz microshells are goodfor keeing the cold out to.

As YC has already stated, layers are the way to go.
I use a close fitting base layer, then a cotton T-Shirt and a pertex under shirt.
This stops the wind chill and helps a lot as my leathers are perforated and well vented.
I have just bought a yeti fleece to go over the top of everything and am now toasty
Dont forget your neck area thogh, if you stip the wind getting into the top of your leathers round your neck, you'll keep more of your body heat in.

My microsshells are EDZ as Fizz mentioned but couldn't remember the make.
The yeti fleece is also an EDZ.

Thanks guys, will be ordering some Edz stuff later.

I really like them and for the price seems really good quality. They did feel a little strange at first, I'm not a fan of tight clothing, but getting use to them each time i go out and it's reassuring to know I'm more protected than i was in the stuff, I bought of ebay when i first passed, which were a little small.

have the rift leathers, tried one fusion jacket (very nice) i need a new one but the zips are not the same so cant zip in so looks like i will be getting another rift jacket

i was too warm on the motorway on the way home =

EDZ undersuit (top and bottom), a vest from river island, a ducati t-shirt, polo neck jumper (the collar lips over my leathers nicely and I can tuck my neck tube into it) then my leathers and then a rain suit over the top as it looked like it was gonna feck it down...

Just picked up the pace a little to get the air moving through a bit quicker can't believe summer is on its way

Boil in the bag? Christ, wearing that much would bake me!

I normally just wear a long sleaved base layer, then a short sleaved t-shirt over the top. Maybe an extra t-shirt if a bit chilly.

funnily enough i was getting the shivers on the way down on saturday evening with exactly the same kit on but today it was quite a lot milder (and I came up the m1 instead of the m6, wrong side of the hills and all that )
