Hiya all.
Right this has only started happening this week. Basically i'll start up the bike, turn up choke to get the engine warmed up a bit. When it's been revving away for a bit i'll reduce the choke and set it so it's idling around 1.5k - 2k RPM. I'll then drive away quite happily. i'll then completely drop out the choke after a couple of minutes of riding. I then find that for the first 30 mins or so of driving when i pull to a stop the revs drop down to 1k rpm (i can feel that bike struggling to keep turning over) and wen driving along can feel the bikes acceleration act bike weird (when cruising). After about 30mins of riding the revs return to normal and the bike will then idle at around 1.5k and bike sounds and acts like normal. I know this sounds like a tiny problem but it's only just started doing it this week (so its making me worry). Any advise would be greatly appreciated to put me out of my misery! Thankyou for the incredibly prompt replies!! Since i'm in no way mechanically minded and don't have the tools.. how much of my money would i expect the garage to steal if i got it done at one?

too much-get yourself a set of carbtune gauges , about 45 quid and you'll be able to do them in future

So pretty expensive then!! Anyone around Midlands / Home Counties areas that has the balancing kit? I would pay for your time... i just don't think i'd be able to do it myself (dont have the confidence).
