I've just completed my latest two mods. The first is a Heal Tech gear position indicator. It was dead easy to fit and connects straight to the diagnostics port so there is no setting up required. I originally bought the indicator with a built in timing retard eliminator but got messed around as the seller didn't have them in stock. The standard one is a lot smaller though and fits nicely to the left hand side of the clocks.
Next was some higher clip ons. I've been finding the standard ones a bit of a pain and wanted something more comfortable. I was tempted for the full handlebar conversion but couldn't warrant the cost and the hassle of changing brake hoses and cables etc. Instead i went for the 50mm higher ones from Banditmania. I've fitted them today and i'm quite impressed with them. When riding slow i can now more or less sit bolt upright and they still give the bike that sporty look. They are well worth it if the standard ones are not for you and they were pretty easy to fit too. |

How far does it stick out? It looks quite flush in that pic ( i hate the fact a lot are quite bulky beasts) Very nice ![]() |

Yeah I have one of these and love it. Good for when you pull up at traffic lights and are looking for 7th gear on the motorway!

Oh I just realised you fit the banditmania risers as well. I bought these last week and fitted them. I am a bit unsure at the moment about the risers but they are definately an improvement over stock!

I'm off out in a few minutes so will see if they were worth the effort. I had a quick go yesterday and they felt better than the stock ones.

Here you go:-
![]() I would say its about 15 - 20mm. I think most are about the same. Unless you are buying a universal one you have to buy a bike specific loom for other ones. These cost a little more but the one i have is a straight fit on nearly all fuel injected Suzuki's. Plus they don't need setting up at all. |

Just got back from a ride and i must say the new clip on's are pretty good. Loads better slow riding in towns etc and a lot more confidence round bends etc. I think the full handlebar conversion would probably be better but for half the cost and hassle i would definately recommend them.
The gear indicator was brilliant too. |

That pretty much sums up my assessment of them both on my bike as well.
