Car just drove straight into my mums drop in centre!!

About 9:45pm a vauxhall decided to plough itself straight into the side of a house my mum rents and uses as a drop-in centre. The car managed to plough into the part of the house used as a nursery throwing bricks and debris across the full length of the room. Don't even want to imagine what would have happened had it been earlier in the day! Also scary to think I was shutting a window in the front of that room not even an hour before the crash!!

Police were saying looked like the guy might have fallen asleep at the wheel. No skid marks, wheels totally straight doesn't even seem to be an attempt to turn around the corner (house located on the corner of a road).

Was a very hectic evening! 2 Fire-engines. Numerous ambulances, numerous police. Am told the guys okay, and no other injuries so could have been alot worse!!

Yeah well witness' were saying some very fast speeds, but coppers reckoned he was doing 30, fell asleep at the wheel and just went straight into the building doing 30, but caused a fair bit of damage!!

And yes, perhaps we should get those signs changed so no ones else decides to 'drop-in' and make another hole!!
