Default OEM parts - where from?

I had a minor accident on Monday because I dabbed the front brake on a slightly muddy road, I was only doing about 15 MPH but done quite a bit of damage to the bike.
  • Tank is dented scratched (an area approx 3x2 inches) - Going to take it to a body repair shop and get a quote for a repair when I can afford it.
  • Handlebar is bent - I have bought an OEM replacement off ebay today (£27 delivered).
  • gear shift lever - I have bodged it by drilling a hole and putting a nut/bolt through it to get me home. They are going for about £30 on ebay and seem readily available so that's okay.
  • Cosmetic damage to pillion footrest, clutch lever tip, footpeg, sidestand and the flyscreen has snapped - these can wait.
  • Speedo backing/casing (it all works but it's cracked and misaligned from the impact) - I havent taken it apart yet but I've had a good look and it only looks like I need 2 or at the most 3 parts.
What ****es me off is the price of the tachometer/speedo casing I cant justify £120 on 3 small bits of plastic lol.

I need 16, 18 and quite possibly 2.

The main reason for posting this thread was to ask if you knew of anywhere to get OEM parts from the UK? I have tried ebay where there are no clocks (could keep looking but could be waiting months and I need the bike)

I can find loads of US sites and the prices on them are almost fair but shipping prices are on average $90!
There's wemoto and a few others but these don't sell all parts, there's no catalogue with part codes.
I contacted www.redcarmotorcycles.co.uk in the end and filled in an enquiry form but they quoted me £120, so I was wondering if you knew of any other OEM suppliers I could try to shop around, has anyone used any?

It's just annoying, the US are spoilt for choice and therefore can get a decent price, and over here they can pretty much charge what they like. Oh and just to add - my previously ordered crash bungs arrived two days later. LOLZ

You'd be best trying to find a second hand speedo for sale. Rob the bits you need then flog the rest. It'll be a lot cheaper than buying new bits

Yeah I thought about that, but where can I even get a second hand one? There's nothing on ebay and I could be waiting for months.

I have a speedo, it's complete but the LCD is buggered. However the casing is in pretty good nick. If I can find a camera I may be able to provide you with some pics etc. It's UK spec too.

PM me if your interested.

Suzuki dealers sell Suzuki parts.

I may have mentioned this before .
