Stressed/broke the wiring going to the right hand switch gear? Kill switch or ignition button could be damaged?

Is there any attempt to start what so ever?Or just silence?

Short the clutch switch wires with a piece of cable then try again. If you have changed the grips when changing the bars it might not be making the switch. For example since I fitted my heated grips you have to pull the clutch lever into the grip very hard to get it to turn over.

To do it, just disconnect the cable going to the switch on the control, then push a short piece of cable into each contact on the connector on the cable to connect them together.

Yeah stop getting annoyed at it and start applying some logic to fix the tw*tting bike.

You had it all apart, it's obviously something been disturbed.

Short the clutch switch out
If that doesn't work short the starter relay out and see if it fires (it will definitely turn over)
If it fires... it's a clutch switch or starter button problem. If it turns but doesn't fire it is a killswitch problem or a safety cutout problem.

It's unlikely to be the sidestand unless that was already dodgy.

This is stating the obvious I know, but re-check everything that was disturbed, that also means the wiring under the tank as those cables will have been wiggled during your work.

I take it everything works except the starter? If no, then make a certain of what does and doesn't work, this will assist in tying down the point of failure.
