Exclamation BEWARE OF JMC swingarm

After 13 months not only they haven't made the swingarm, but for the last 2 months they don't even answer the phone/e-mails.Lots of excuses but nothing.Seriously thinking of legal action against them...
Anyone have experience with them?

I had a top braced arm done by them a while ago (takes an R1 wheel).

Were really good at communication and it came on time (took a while but no later than expected) bit strange really.

Gone bust?

Thats an absolute joke then... just noticed your location and they probably think they can pull a fast one.

Ask for a refund and take your business elsewhere.

If that fails then you really need to be speaking to trading standards. You will need proof of payment and all your correspondance.

http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/e...lias=/contact/

It could prove difficult and expensive from outside the UK... your best bet would be to try and get someone local to pay them a visit representing you and see what sense they can get out of them face to face.

I am no where near liverpool though I am afraid.

Ah, so that's why you were asking about them.

It's taking the p*ss that's for sure.

Well I've just had a look on the website and the latest update is 24/4 apologising for anyone who is waiting for their products (no hint of when you will get them though) I gave them a call and it's just engaged.

A quick trawl through Google has also thrown up a few more folk in the same boat as you, most seem to be waiting about a year (although it's never the ones who get what they order on time who write about it)

I'd pm Ed and see what he thinks is the best way forward.

I will give JMC one more week, then I will ask for refund or take things further.
Hell,if I knew last year you had the whole thing for sale I'd have taken it!
But now I have already paid for deposit...
