any one collect scale model bikes?
anyone?? Ive started collecting these but quality and price vary alot, anyone got any experience in these type of scale models??

I do, but then I am just a child trapped in an adults body!
 I have a fleet of the Maisto model bikes and Wifey has a super expensive 1-12 scale Kawasaki Z1 that is both beautiful and exquisitely well made. Her model cost on its own more than all twelve of mine cost together, but then hers has working bits on it like suspension forks and brake lines that are made from fine threads.  Try about £70 for one of these! Have a look at the website here.

There's a big model shop in Cardiff that had lots of these, I was surprised to see they even made a model pointy (in the very commonly seen orange
 ) but looking through Maisto's catalog there's no Fazers at all, bleh!

I love the minichamps stuff but I'm a tightwad and i'm not willing to pay the money for them...
I used to make the tamiya models but I endded up getting annoyed as I couldn't get them built to my stupid exacting standards.
