Just a quick question got an oil leak from behind the water pump housing on my 06 zx6r, now I've got the water pump cover off is this likely to be why?
Ta in advance |

If I remember correctly* there are two seals, one to stop engine oil and another to stop water, between the two is a space and a drain, depending on what fluid is leaking depends on which is causing a problem.
disturbing the pump shaft can unseat the seals though so check that before shelling out on new bits. * of course it's posssible I'm thinking of a different model ![]() Cheers Mark
