rear shock help - SV650.org

hey sorry im sure this has been posted 1000 times but im in a hurry did have a quick look but can finde the answers im looking for
ok so ive been offred a gsxr 1000 rear shock is it worth it? or are there others shocks that are better?
will it just bolt straight on to my k6 sv650 ?
does it change the ride height by much?
anything else i need to know?

just had a quick look on ebay and my budget of £100 can get me pretty much any of the rear shocks the zx10r shock anygood? they look cooler as well but im sure that wont change the way it works

It's what I put on my K5. Bit of battery box cutting for fit.

No idea about ride height.
