Default Hydraulic clutch for SV?

Was up (top barn) Rivington on sunday and saw a couple SV's around... one had a hydrolic clutch conversion.... Maxton front and rear suspension, front and rear break upgrades. different wheels. and a couple of others that had a few mods here n there. very tidy and clean all around!

Very intrested in the clutch conversion... has anyone got this and whats the improvments?? and the cost?

No improvement to speak of. Bit lighter action, at the expense of biting right far out and more stuff to go wrong.

Have a look at this link for a hydraulic Clutch kit for the SV.

Seems rather pricey to replace something that is so reliable and cheap to fix!

That's my SV you saw there. YC is correct - there is little to be gained by the hydraulic clutch conversion; it's better but not much! Fortunately I got my parts at a good price, but I wouldn't do it again. Just make sure your cable and actuator are in top condition. The other mods, Maxton suspension, CBR600F3 wheels and GSXR brakes, I am much more pleased with.

What's the slave cylinder from? TLR? SV1000?

Just that I have a TLR slave and sprocket cover burried in the garage somewhere.

TL1000R slave, master cylinder and hose used for the conversion.

with the cbr600F3 wheels do you need different spacers ect?? guessing they are alot lighter than the standard wheels??

They weigh a f***ing ton actually.

But they're a bit wider and some people squeeze 180 rears on.
