Default Adjusting drive chain?

Hi all, been doing some serious riding lately, just ride outs really. I checked the deflection on the chain this afternoon & found it to be 29 mm.
Is it ok to adjust it on the side stand or best to do it properly on a paddock stand which incidently I havnt got.
Another item, clutch lever free play is 15mm, do i need to adjust it yet.
All advice greatly appreciated, regards Keith h

It should be on the sidestand. 29mm is at the top of the slack.

15mm is bit loose. But everyone has there own preference on how tight the clutch should be

Thanks Andrew. As you can see another post about chains. Any idea what the deflection is set by Suzuki at the factory?
Reset my clutch lever last night to 10 mm.
May be see you around somewhere, where do you ride to Andrew? I live near Seaton Delaval & go to the cafes at south beach near Blyth. cheers mate, keith h

the dealers set the chains when the bikes are unpacked.

I'm from West end of Newcastle, don't get a chance to get up South beach with me job
