Curvy/Pointy Rear Shock Difference?
What is the difference between a curvy shock and a early pointy shock?

Spring rate of Curvy is much higher than a pointy. Apart from that not much. Pointy is a bit shorter (7mm)

Because the suspension is not the same - thus the right spring to give the correct rate at the wheel will not be the same.
Pointy shock is approx 7/8mm shorter and is not a good fit on the Curvy. And before anyone says this can be fixed with different length 'dogbones', it's rarely a good move as that puts the linkage in a different part of the rate curve.
