Anyone else done something stupid...

Recently.
On Friday i woke up, got ready, and go to start the bike.
BAM wouldn't start, turns out i had caught the heated grips switch when covering the ike and so flat battery.
Wake up today, and well did the same thing again :/
anyone else done something like that or even stupider ?

Might be an idea to wire them into the ignition circuit.

I got as far as starting the bike yesterday morning at 0650 when I remembered I had the day off.

Recently I moved my bike off it's stand twice in one week with the disc lock still on, despite having the reminder cable around the bars. My front mudguard is not as whole as it used to be!

At least I'm not a boxer shorts pooper.

A little bit of wee came out before I could get my leathers open on Saturday after a veeery cold ride (numb hands, couldn't undo helmet or 2-piece leathers zip quick enough).

When I get home on bike, I usually open garage door, take of helmet (put on shelf) and then push bike into garage.
One day my wife opened garage door just before I was due home, I rode straight in, took off helmet and put it through strip light above my head.
Do not change your routine for anyone.

Not bike related.

But I spent 20 minutes yesterday trying to figure out what was wrong with my I-pod.

Yes it was on, no sound!
Yes it was playing, no sound!
Turn up volume, no sound!
Press play, pause, skip tracks,
turn it to random, still no sound!

I did everything I could to get sound but there was nothing. So walked 10 minutes back to the house, unpluged it from my headphones put it in the doc its working. Plug it back into headphones nothing. Getting worried the jack has failed and its another new i-pod needed.

When I suddenly realise I didn't actually have the headphones in my ears.

A short while ago the house was invaded by flys, so I popped out for a can of raid. Turns out they were hiding in the double glazing frames, and mostly in the bedroom. After blasting a couple of the blighters I put the can down and go to bed.
Next morning, wake up bleary-eyed and go through the routine, except my deodorant smells a bit off
On the other hand, my pits are now pest free...
