Default Comparison sites might be cheapest, but not always best - insurance.

So, I've rebuilt the SV and need to insure it.
I go on all the usual suspect comparison sites and the best price comes out at £107 fully comp, protected but with a £500 excess from Bennetts.
No legal, no breakdown, no european cover.

I try Carole Nash website £227, but then a guy from Carole Nash rings me up, we go through all my details and HEY PRESTO, for £127 I have the same protected fully comp but with only £100 excess, plus legal, plus breakdown with homestart, plus european cover, plus a free Carole Nash tagging kit!!!

The guy on the phone from Carole Nash is my hero rang me back three times today cos I was in the garage finishing the bike. Twice I had to say "Sorry mate, hands are still covered in muck, give us a bell back in an hour." He was dead honest, told me he was on commision when I said I'd ring him back because he was worried I wouldn't get back through to him.

I've no idea and frankly I couldn't give a monkeys
They emailed the schedule and cover note, I've checked all the details and everything is spot on.
Speaking to a human rather than interacting with a machine has its benefits, trust me, I work in IT and I prefer people to machines anyday hehe
