it is not the simplest job to do one because it takes a bit of time. you basically have to dissmantle the wholeof th rear trim to fit the tail tidy and refit. Not an advanced job but certainly a time consuming one. Reserve about 2hr minimum for it. Replace original indicators. Here is my thread on it: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=173642

As Syy said it will take abit of time to change. If you are short on cash however you can keep your standard indys on. Only downside however the back end gets a lot dirtier

For the sake of £20 I'd get some decent indicators on there. If a job's worth doing...

to be completely honest, I quite like the stock indicators on the SV. I only changed the orange lenses to a white lenses (and obviously to orange bulbs too)

But yea, I'm looking to fit a tail tidy and I want one that is compatible with the stock indicators...

I like em!

The stock ones looked a bit silly with the tail tidy and I vaguly remember the screw from the plastic inducation stalk housing would not fit the tail tidy connections I had. No harm in trying to alter the connection I you like it stock.

It is a pain especially if you have to fiddle about like I did.

It didn't fit straight away so I had to take everything off again. Also if you are getting some LED indicators then you will need a flash relay as I used the resistors that came with the indicators but they have not slowed it down enough.

The tail tidy from R&G does allow the stock indys to go on with no trouble

Yea thanks, that's the one I'm looking to buy, but the cheapest I can find it is 61 quid on ebay!
