Default BBC4 Now, First World War From Above.

Which looks like it might be entertaining.

I've seen this before, well worth a watch. Which is exactly what I am doing now.

That was enjoyable - except for the style of presenting which is in the modern, typically patronising type, and one particularly risible scene where the presenter surprises the photographers daughter with the film's existence.

This is a subject that requires no attempts at adding drama to it, and certainly not in a 'you've been framed' manner, then he asks if she'd like to see the film! What's she going to say - no? Ridiculous.

Still enjoyed it though, this sort of programme is the stuff that Richard Holmes did best, maybe some presenters could learn from watching a few episodes of 'War Walks'.

On the subject of TV progs worth spending an hour of your life watching, I happened upon this the other night. Absolutely stunning.

That was just on again - I watched it. It too was very good.
