I went to Bansko in Bulgaria last year which was pretty good value for money & waaayyyyy better than Borovitz that I'd been to a few years earlier. Really enjoyed Les 2 Alps too which is pretty high up so almost guaranteed snow (and extreme cold)
If you can afford it - Canada ![]() |

Did Canada at school and thought it no better then the 2 alps trips I've done.
One in the Mt Blanc region and another at Wildhaus in Swiss alps. Loved Wildhaus but depends what you're after as there was NO night life. |

as i said, night life is no issue as there will be few of us going so will just buy beer, were all quite keen on the idea of being able to ski and not being majorly hungover, completely open to idea's so will have a look at everyones suggestions later on this evening

Have you thought about Andorra/Pyrenees or the Dolomites? Less popular than the Alps so maybe better value. Not been myself but throwing the idea out.

Sauze D'Oulx (Italy) is fantastic, as is Tignes (France).
Both are part of huge linked ski areas, e.g. Sauze joins up with Montgeneve (which is also nice), Sestriere, Claviere and a few others. It's enormous. |
