Default Gearbox wont go into neutral.

Anyone know why my gearbox wont select neutral when warm but fine when cold, even if I turn the engine off you have to wait 2 - 3 mins and its fine.

Its doing my head in.

Adjust the clutch.

If as Sid and Bibio say, the cable is correctly adjusted both ends, the worm drive cleaned and greased (watch out for the tiny ball bearings) oil level correct and the lever pivot greased and set at the correct angle then you could check for clutch drag which may mean the basket is notched enough to cause the problem.
