SV1000S K3 Sidestand loop broken.
Whilst touring Scotland last weekend I noticed that the kick loop on my sidestand had snapped on the lower part of the loop. Has anyone else come across this problem? I have welded a gusset plate across the break and looking at the K4+ models it appears that these plates were added by the factory.

Just back from Scotland once more and the same problem. Fabbed up another plate to span the break. 80,000 miles on the clock now.
