Default Has my bike had a slip on before?

I've attached two pictures. Ive not had alot of time to investigate this since i noticed this morning, just snapped the two pics- so forgive my ignorance.

Is this what a k7 pointy looks like stock ? It looks to me like the can has been cut off then taken back to stock ( i have seen link pipes designed for this very thing) Obviously i could go back and have a proper look another day, but I'm babysitting.

So, experienced masses, whats the verdict?

no. you have to remove the heat shield before you cut the OEM can off.

cracking, thanks. I just thought that it looked a little strange. I've got a few weeks off coming up when i'm going to fit my Delkavic and things, so its good to be able to plan ahead. i.e. if it was already modded then things would have been much easier!
