I've interviewed hundred of IT people and as such seen many hundred CVs. Basically make sure it is interesting right from the start keep it relative to the role and make sure it's about where YOU have added value and not just about the things you've done. Happy to review what you've got but if you stick to those basics and keep it grammatically correct, under two pages and looking tidy you'll not got far wrong.

Drop Peg a line. Every CV he sends when looking for a job, he gets a job offer from every company hrs sent it to. Don't know what's on it, but its very short, sweet and written specifically. One page sometimes!

He re wrote my dads CV, hes an engineer whose at retirement age. He knows nowt about engineering but mastered it in a way to make my dad so good, he was number 1 candidate for the job.

Secret is to not write s bible of pages.
